Important Changes for this WBW

Because of construction this summer at the camp, there are a couple of major changes taking place this year.

1) Attendance will be capped at 350

Parking and camping areas will be reduced because of the construction at the camp. To ensure that we can provide adequate room for everyone, we must limit the number of folks we can accommodate. Therefore...

2) Pre-registration will be required

If you want to attend, you must pre-register before we reach our limit of 350 attendees, or by August 31, whichever comes first. No walkup registration will be available this year.
No exceptions.

Why?

Imagine throwing a dinner party for your friends, giving them the option of spending the night. Now imagine that you don't know how many friends will show up and trying to figure out how much food to buy or beds to get ready.

Add in a several more breakfasts, lunches and another dinner, plus beds for whomever shows up. And then try doing that while your house is being remodelled. This is what planning for this year's WBW is like. To make your coordinators' jobs easier and to help keep the WBW experience enjoyable for those attending, we are putting these changes in place.

Key Coordinator Positions Available

We have several key coordinator positions that need filling this year.

Medical Doctor

The camp requires us to have a medical doctor at the camp and on call for the entire Weekend. If you're a doctor and wish to attend the WBW as our guest in return for this service, please let us know.

Scholarships Available

We've got several positions that require a ten-hour minimum service, for which we'll give you a scholarship to the Weekend.

Let us know what you're interested in helping with, how much time you'd like to devote to it, either before or during the event, and what your skills are. We'll get back to you and let you know the details.
